The Pharmacognosy Laboratory houses a wide range of natural products derived from plants, animals, and minerals. It is equipped with advanced instruments for the extraction and isolation of phytomolecules from crude drugs using techniques such as hot percolation and maceration. Pharmacy students receive hands-on training in plant standardization using biomarkers, enhancing their expertise in natural product research and quality assessment.
